Among the large variety of fish in stores, it is worth paying attention to such species as pollock. The meat of this fish is very useful for the body. Pollock
contains a lot of iodine, which helps to cope with thyroid problems. Also, dishes from pollock help to reduce blood glucose and cholesterol levels.
Therefore, it is worth including pollock in your diet. Do not neglect this fish because of the cost or replacement with more harmful products.

Ingredients for pollock under marinade:
- pollock – kg;
- starch – 3 tablespoons;
- vegetable oil – 200 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- ground black pepper – a pinch;
- eggs – 1 pc;
Ingredients for the sauce:
- vegetable oil – 3 tbsp;
- ketchup – 5 tbsp;
- garlic – 3 cloves;
- sugar – 2 tbsp. with a slide;
- 9% vinegar – 1 tbsp;
- soy sauce – 150 g;
- water – 150 g;
- starch – 1 tbsp;
- pepper paste – ½ tbsp;
- dried ginger – â…“ tsp;
- sesame seeds – a pinch.
Cooking pollock under the marinade:
Remove the fish tail, fins, head, remove the insides and skin. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Cut the fish first lengthwise, and then across – into small portioned pieces.
Fish fillets are sent to a deep bowl, salt, sprinkle with ground black pepper, break an egg there. Mix the ingredients with your hands, pour starch and roll the pieces in it.
Fry the fish in a frying pan for 2-3 minutes on each side on medium heat. Leave 3 spoons of vegetable oil in the skillet after frying.
Add ketchup, lightly crushed garlic cloves, sugar, vinegar and soy sauce to the hot oil. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring.
Pour the water into the sauce, pour in the starch, add the pepper paste, ginger, and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, simmer the sauce for an additional couple of minutes, add the fish and mix.
You can also add your favorite herbs to the sauce – parsley or dill. Don’t forget to decorate the fish with sesame seeds before serving.
