If apples are sweet, then peasants could not add sugar to baked goods, which they did. Sugar was expensive for most, so sweets were baked without it.

Ingredients for apple pie:
- Apples – 3 pcs;
- Zest of 1 lemon;
- Juice of half a lemon;
- Eggs – 3 pcs;
- Salt – a pinch;
- Sugar – 200 g;
- Kefir – 250 ml;
- Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- Baking soda – tsp;
- Flour – 500 g;
- Raisins – 50 g.
Preparation of apple pie:
Peel the apples from the peel and cut into small cubes. Sprinkle apple pieces with lemon zest, pour in lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
In a separate bowl break eggs, pour sugar and salt, pour in kefir and mix the ingredients thoroughly

Pour vegetable oil into the mixture, pour baking soda and mix again.
Sift flour into the mixture, knead a thick dough without lumps

Add apple pieces and raisins to the dough, mix.
