Cakes are loved by everyone – both children and adults. It is customary to serve it on birthdays or other holidays. But why buy a ready-made dessert when you can make it at home yourself? Even a beginner in cooking can cope with this recipe. The combination of orange and chocolate makes the flavor truly memorable and pleasant. And you will also be pleased with the fact that you can prepare such a great cake in just 10 minutes!
Ingredients for the sponge
cake:
- flour – 500 g;
- orange juice – 400 g;
- sugar – 300 g;
- vegetable oil – 250 g;
- zest – from 1 orange;
- baking soda – 1 tsp;
- leavening agent – 2 tsp;
- vanilla – 1-2 sachets;
- chocolate sprinkles – 200 g.
Ingredients for the filling:
- water – 350 g;
- cocoa powder – 50 g;
- sugar – 130 g;
- cornstarch – 30 g;
- vegetable oil – 10 g;
- vanillin – 1 sachet.
Preparation:
Pour orange juice into a bowl, add vegetable oil, orange zest, baking soda and whisk all this mixture well for 1 minute. Now send here 300 grams of sugar, vanilla and baking powder, sifted flour and
mix the dough to a homogeneous consistency
.
Then send here the chocolate filling and mix the ingredients once again.
Take a 25X30 cm baking dish and grease it with oil. Pour the batter into it.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and put the biscuit to bake for 50-60 minutes.
Put the prepared water in a ladle or saucepan on the fire. Immediately add cocoa powder, sugar and cornstarch. While heating, stir the mixture constantly until it thickens. Then add here 10 g of vegetable oil, stir once again and remove from heat. Now add 1 packet of vanilla to the filling.
When the biscuit is ready, pour the chocolate filling on top of the mold and spread it evenly with a spatula.
The dish should cool down, we leave it for 30-40 minutes and then send it to the fridge for half an hour.
Delicious cake with chocolate and orange is ready! You can serve to a festive table or an evening tea party!
