Pies have become a way for many cooks to relax. It seems that baking can only fulfill such a function in one case – when we are the only ones eating it. In fact, this is not true, for making pies and scones can be a way of meditation and relaxation.
English scientists did some experiments with baking

They asked cooks to prepare something that they associated with family, their favorite thing to do and comfort. 60% of people started kneading dough. Someone baked pies, someone cooked bread according to the recipe of his mother, and someone baked beautiful buns.
It is worth taking note of this method of meditation and also prepare a fragrant pecan
pie.
Ingredients of dough for pecan pie:
- Flour – 300 g;
- Sugar – 130 g;
- Eggs – 3 pcs;
- Sour cream – 3 tbsp;
- Vegetable oil – 100 ml;
- Milk – 80 ml;
- Vanilla sugar – 10 g;
- Baking powder – 1 tsp;
- Soda – 0.5 tsp.
Ingredients for the filling:
- Dates – 100 g;
- Walnuts – 70 g;
- Honey – 2 tbsp.
Preparation of walnut cake:
Pour into a bowl with eggs vanilla and classic sugar, beat with a mixer until white foam is formed. Pour vegetable oil into the foam, continue beating.
Add sour cream to the mixture, beat until smooth. Pour the milk into the mixture, pour half of the total mass of flour, pour in the leavening agent.
Knead
a thick dough, into which we pour the rest of the flour.
Quench the soda with lemon juice, add to the dough and continue to knead.
To prepare the filling, remove the pips from the dates, mix with nuts and honey in the bowl of a blender

Cut a circle of parchment with a diameter equal to the bottom of the pan. Pour ½ of the batter into the pan over low heat.
Spread the filling on top of the batter.
Cover the filling with the second portion of batter.
Place parchment on top of pie, cover with lid. Cook the pie for 35-40 minutes and then turn the top over to the bottom of the pan.
Bake the pie under the lid for another 15 minutes.
The result is a simple pie for tea in a frying pan.
