Ingredients:
- Kefir – 500 ml;
- Flour – 800 g;
- Egg – 1 pc;
- Margarine – 50 g;
- Sugar – 2 tbsp;
- Salt – 1 tsp;
- Soda – 1 tsp;
- Apples – 4 pcs.
Preparation of puffballs:
In kefir pour salt, sugar, beat an egg and mix thoroughly. Sift separately 300 grams of flour, put margarine in it, knead with hands to the state of crumbs.
Pour soda into kefir, add flour and margarine, mix. Next, sift the rest of the flour, knead a soft and slightly sticky dough.
Leave the dough under the container for 30 minutes. At this time, peel the apples, remove the core and cut into small cubes.
Divide the dough into two equal parts, roll out rectangular thick layers. Pour apple cubes into each layer, spread over the entire surface.
Roll up the apple filling into a roll, divide into small portions.
Fry the dumplings in a frying pan in vegetable oil on both sides until golden.
