“Mushrooms under a fur coat.” Prepared without meat, but it turns out very tasty: multi-layered salad for the holidays

Nowadays there are many different kinds of salads in the world. And most of them are not really known to people from certain regions. The popularity of one salad in a certain country is related to traditions, preferred products and other factors. Even the air temperature and climate strongly influence what salads are prepared by housewives.

In many European countries and CIS countries, mushrooms are added to salads

They give a special flavor to even the most ordinary salads. But, there are ingredients that do not combine well with mushrooms

. For example, mushrooms can be combined in salads with nuts, herbs, vegetables. It is not worth combining mushrooms with fruits.

Let’s show you how to make a salad “Mushrooms under a fur coat”.

Ingredients for the salad:

  • Mushrooms champignons – 500 g;
  • Onions – 2 pcs;
  • Carrots – 1 pc;
  • Mashed potatoes – 2 pcs;
  • Pickled cucumbers – 3 pcs;
  • Boiled eggs – 3 pcs;
  • Hard cheese – 150 g;
  • Green onions;
  • Mayonnaise;
  • Salt – ½ tsp.

Preparation of the salad:

Cut thin plates of mushrooms and fry in a dry frying pan until the liquid evaporates. Salt the mushrooms, pour a little vegetable oil and mix.

Cut quarter rings onions, cut carrots into thin bars. In a frying pan in vegetable oil fry onions and carrots until golden.

Fry mushrooms, and then transfer to a paper towel and let cool. Do the same with fried carrots and onions.

Boiled and cleaned in advance potatoes grated on a coarse grater, put the first layer in the salad bowl, salt. Lubricate the potato layer with a mesh of mayonnaise.

Put on the potato layer mushrooms, and then carrots and onions. Smear the layer of onions and carrots with mayonnaise. Cut pickles into small cubes, put them on the vegetable layer.
