As art therapist Julie Ohana says, “the process of baking pies also has a good psychological effect on people”. The fact is that many people enjoy watching the dough rise, the buns baking in the oven. This calming effect has a therapeutic effect on the brain.
In addition, the smell of fresh pies has a positive effect on brain function. Scientists have found that the smell of baked goods at least stimulates the production of dopamine
. Therefore, baking pies is useful and delicious. Let’s create this therapy in our kitchen in the form of cheese pies.
Ingredients for cheese patties:
- milk – 200 ml;
- sugar – tsp;
- dry yeast – tsp;
- salt – tsp;
- flour – 400 g;
- vegetable oil – 20 ml;
- cheese – 300 g;
- eggs – pcs.
Preparation of cheese patties:
In warm milk pour granulated sugar, salt and yeast, mix the components until the grains of sand dissolve. Sift flour into the milk mixture, knead the dough with a spatula and then with your hands.
Pour vegetable oil into the dough, continue to knead and form a block. Cover the dough with cellophane and leave
it
warm for 20 minutes.
Grate the cheese, beat the egg into it and mix. Knead the dough again and divide it into 10 equal parts. Roll the lumps of dough into small flatbreads
and place a tablespoon of cheese filling in each flatbread, sealing it inside.
Grease your hands with water and lightly flatten the patties with your hands.
Fry the patties on both sides in a frying pan in vegetable oil until browned
.
The result is simple quick cheese patties. This is a good option for breakfast or a snack.
