Ingredients for pita bread with sausage and cheese:
- pita – 200 g;
- cooked sausage – 200 g;
- cheese – 100 g;
- egg – pcs;
- water – tbsp;
- vegetable oil – 60 ml.
Preparation of pita bread with sausage and cheese:
We cut a couple of pita breads into small rectangles of 35×15 cm square. Cut a small dice of cooked sausage, shred cheese on a coarse grater
. Mix cheese with sausage in a separate bowl, put a tablespoon of filling on each rectangle of pita.
From the long sides slightly wrap the edges of the pita inside, and from the short ends fold the rectangle, covering the stuffing.
You get an envelope with cheese and sausage inside. Similarly hide the stuffing in the rest of the pita.
Beat an egg, pour a little water into a bowl. Dip the pita envelopes in the egg mixture, and then lay them on a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry the envelopes on both sides for 2-3 minutes until golden.
