You can cook zrazy for a main course or as a side dish. Not so long ago, potato zrazy were made from raw potatoes. The method of preparation is quite simple: grate, form a flatbread, wrap the filling. The filling could be meat, vegetables, mushrooms.
Now the recipe for zrazas has changed slightly, mostly boiled potatoes are used for cooking. However, this does not change the essence of the dish. In front of us are still the same cutlets with a variety of stuffing inside. Moreover, the filling of the treat is limited only by the imagination of the cook himself. This is the recipe we decided to offer you today.
Ingredients for zrazas:
- potatoes – 1 kg;
- flour – 2-3 tbsp;
- canned tuna – 2 cans;
- carrots – pcs;
- onion – pcs;
- butter – 20 g;
- egg – pcs;
- cheese – 100 g;
- green onion – 4-5 stalks;
- vegetable oil – 120 ml;
- pepper, salt.
Preparation of zrazas:
Cut the raw potatoes into pieces and send them to boil in a pot with water.
In the cooked potatoes break a chicken egg and turn into a mashed potato
.
Add cheese grated on a fine grater. Mix thoroughly until homogeneous. Salt to taste and pour 2-3 tablespoons of flour.
To prepare the filling, take the tuna out of the cans, knead it with a fork.
Finely chop the onion and send it to the frying pan to fry. Here we also put coarsely grated carrots. Add 20 grams of butter. Salt and pepper to taste.
Ready frying combine with tuna and chopped green onions.
Wet your hands with water and form a small amount of mashed potatoes into a flatbread. Put the filling in the center and pinch the edges.
Sprinkle the formed pieces with flour and send them to a frying pan with vegetable oil.
Fry on both sides until cooked.
