Soups in different countries have by no means the same culinary significance. In CIS countries, soup is usually a warm liquid dish served first for lunch. However, in Asia it is not customary to eat soups first. A liquid dish completes the meal.
In addition to warm soups, there are cold ones. Such soups are called summer soups because they are prepared in southern countries. One of the most common cold soups is considered okroshka. However, there are other soups that do not need to cook for a long time. The
versatility of the soup is that there are no restrictions on the products we add to the dish. So, you can make both a hearty soup and a more dietary one. Let’s prepare one of the simple soups for every day.
Ingredients for pea soup:
- Chicken legs – 2 pcs;
- Smoked chicken legs – 2 pcs;
- Peas – 200 g;
- Salt – 1 tbsp;
- Potatoes – 250 g;
- Carrots – 50 ml;
- Onion – 50 g.
Preparation of pea soup:
Put the chicken legs and smoked chicken legs in a pot, pour peas, salt and pour a couple of liters of water.
Cook the soup until it boils
