Many people know about the holiday Pancake Day, but not everyone will be able to remember the existence of Oladnitsa. This holiday was honored in our country in ancient times. Up until the XIX century Oladnitsa meant the coming of Lent. At this time it was possible to bake pancakes, only without ingredients of animal origin. That is, milk and eggs were excluded from the recipe.
In the XX century, with the arrival of the Communists, such holidays were abolished. After a while, people remembered only Pancake Day, because it is a more nourishing and large-scale celebration.

Only we will not cook them on water. It is better to make nutritious fritters on kefir.
Ingredients for kefir fritters:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- baking soda – ½ tsp;
- salt – a pinch;
- semolina – 250 g;
- sugar – 2 tbsp;
- kefir – 250 ml.
Preparation of fritters on kefir:
Break eggs in a separate container, pour salt, baking soda and granulated sugar. Add kefir to the eggs, beat the ingredients with a whisk. To the mixture pour semolina, mix again.
Cover the resulting dough with foil, leave it warm for half an hour. Then move the dough into a pastry bag, heat about 100 ml of vegetable oil in a
frying
pan.
Press out portions of fritters from the bag, fry on both sides until golden.
Without flour and milk you get puffy, tasty fritters.
Thanks to the pastry bag you will not have to get your hands dirty in the dough.
