Meatballs should be called a meat dish with some kind of cereals in it. Meatballs have the shape of balls, as it is the most universal form for this dish. Meatballs
are prepared everywhere in different cuisines of the world. For example, meatballs are loved in England and Sweden. In the latter country, meatballs are considered a national dish.
There are many varieties of meatballs

They even include meatballs. It is worth trying to cook classic meatballs at home.
Ingredients for meatballs:
- onion – pcs;
- carrots – 150 g;
- potatoes – 3 pcs;
- minced meat – 500 g;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
Ingredients for the sauce:
- flour – tbsp;
- tomato juice – 200 ml;
- water – 150 ml;
- salt – ½ tsp.
- sugar – tsp.
Preparation of meatballs:
Grate on large sharps grater onions, carrots and peeled potatoes. To the vegetable mass put minced meat, salt and sprinkle with spices to taste.
Mix the components with your hands and beat them. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Form meatballs, lay them on the frying pan. At maximum heat, seal the meatballs on all sides, and then remove from the fire.
Pour the flour into the skillet with the butter, stir until thickened.
Pour
tomato paste into the pan, pour water.
Pour salt and sugar into the sauce. Add dried garlic and spices, e.g. basil, to taste.
Stir the sauce. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more water. Cook on the stove at minimum heat.
Put the meatballs in the sauce and cook under the lid for 20 minutes.
Serve meatballs with sour cream and chopped herbs – parsley and dill.
Tender tasty meatballs without rice and other cereals are obtained.
