Cakes are incredibly useful for our body. The fact is that cakes help people get rid of depression, get a dose of dopamine. Sweet confectionery performs an important function for mankind. Of course, it is impossible to call cakes a cure for all mental illnesses. But, in some European countries there is even therapy with cakes.
There are many different cakes – berry, fruit, chocolate, with cream and without cream. Therefore, each person is able to choose the cake that will be more preferable to him.
If you like homemade cakes, it is worth taking a closer look at this simple recipe.
Ingredients of custard for the cake:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- vanilla sugar – 15 g;
- sugar – 150 g;
- flour – 50 g;
- milk – 600 g;
- butter – 180 g.
Ingredients for the biscuit:
- flour – 150 g;
- cornstarch – 10 g;
- leavening agent – 10 g;
- egg white – 4 pcs;
- salt – a pinch;
- sugar – 120 g;
- egg yolks – 4 pcs;
- vegetable oil – 20 ml.
Ingredients for impregnation:
- white chocolate – 50 g;
- milk – 80 ml.
Cake preparation:
To prepare the cream, in a saucepan mix the eggs with vanilla and classic sugar and flour. Gradually pour the milk into the egg mixture in batches, stir with a whisk.
Over medium heat bring the mixture to thickening, stirring constantly. Transfer the cream base to a bowl, cover with cellophane in contact with the surface. Leave the cream base to cool.
In the meantime, prepare the biscuit – mix the flour with cornstarch and baking powder in a bowl. In the second bowl mix the whites with salt and sugar, whip until the formation of a lush mass with a mixer.
Add the yolks to the white white lush mass, continue to whip until the components are completely combined. Pour the vegetable oil into the mixture, beat with a mixer until homogeneous.
Sift the bulk products into the mixture, knead the biscuit dough without lumps

Cover a 20 cm diameter baking dish with parchment and place the dough on the bottom.
Bake the biscuits in the oven at 170 degrees for 40 minutes.
While the biscuit is baking, beat the warm butter with a mixer for 3-4 minutes. Gradually add the custard base to the butter.
Remove the biscuit from the mold, cut off the top. Grind the top of the biscuit into fine crumbs in a blender
. Cut the biscuit into 3 equal cakes

For impregnation, melt white chocolate with hot milk, pour this mixture over each cake.
Put the cake in the pastry ring, evenly cover it with ⅓ of the cream. Similarly assemble the cake further, lay out the remaining cakes and distribute the cream.
The top of the cake can be decorated with roses of cream. To do this, transfer the rest of the cream into a pastry bag and form the roses with a special nozzle.
Decorated cake put in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours, better overnight

Then cover the cake with the rest of the cream and sprinkle the sides with biscuit crumbs.
The cake can be decorated with berries, for example, raspberries, if desired. After cooking, sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar.
