The first pancakes were baked by humans about 10,000 years ago. At that time, there were no frying pans as advanced as ours. Therefore, ancient people baked pancakes on huge stone slabs. It is noteworthy that people back then already knew how to make fire and knew how to grow wheat
. Of course, ancient pancakes were not much like modern pancakes. But, they laid the beginning of the history of pancakes.
Great importance was attached to pancakes by the Slavs. Deities and paganism was directly related to the preparation of this dish. If you remember Shrovetide, you can understand that pancakes are the center of this holiday.
Let’s prepare independently pancakes with a delicious filling.
Ingredients for pancakes:
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- sugar – 3 tbsp;
- salt – 1.5 tsp;
- flour – 250 g;
- milk – 250 ml;
- boiling water – 1250 ml;
- minced meat – 300 g;
- Korean carrots – 200 g;
- onion – 1 pc.
Preparation of pancakes:
In a bowl with eggs pour half a spoonful of salt and granulated sugar, beat until the grains of sand dissolve with a whisk.
Pour
the milk into the mixture, pour in the flour and knead the dough.
Pour boiling water into the dough, stir all the ingredients into the dough again. In a frying pan with a diameter of about 24 cm fry thin pancakes – 15-16 pieces.
Dice the onions into small cubes, put them in a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry them lightly. Add minced meat to the onions, salt and fry until the meat is ready.
Mix the meat stuffing with Korean carrots

Put a tablespoon of stuffing on the edge of each pancake, wrap into a roll.
Tuck the edges of the pancakes so that the stuffing does not fall out of the roll.
Such pancakes can be additionally fried on a frying pan. But they are also delicious and hearty when cold.
