Ingredients for kvass:
- breadcrumbs – 200 g;
- water – 2.7 liters;
- sugar – 6 tbsp;
- raisins – 20 pcs;
- honey – 2 tbsp;
- horseradish – 5 g.
Preparation of kvass:
In a glass jar it is necessary to lay out rye breadcrumbs, sprinkle them with sugar. Put in the jar also 10 pieces of raisins, pour warm water (70 degrees).
Stir the contents in the jar until the grains of sand dissolve.
Note that you should pour not the entire cavity of the jar, from the neck should be left 2-3 cm.
Put a gauze on the neck, leave the kvass in the heat for fermentation for 3 days. After the specified time strain the kvass into another jar, mix it with honey, raisins and horseradish.
We close the kvass with a lid, put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours at least.
