Fried potatoes have become a coveted dish for many. Originally, fried potatoes were loved by working people and peasants, as it was the most budget-friendly lunch and dinner you could think of. High society did not like fried potatoes as they were considered a dish of the common people.
After the Bolsheviks came to power, fried potatoes became a luxury for people. Years of no harvest led to a shortage of potatoes. Therefore, after the famine was gone, potatoes became more highly valued. Dishes from potatoes were honored, with the vegetable was put a lot of culinary experiments. Let’s show you how to cook potatoes deliciously.
Ingredients for fried potatoes:
- potatoes – 5 pcs;
- brisket – 300 g;
- onions – pcs;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- milk – 70 ml;
- dried garlic;
- smoked paprika.
Preparation of fried potatoes:
Cut the peeled potatoes into small bars, and onions into feathers. Chop the brisket into small pieces.
Fry the brisket in a frying pan in vegetable oil for 3 minutes. Add potatoes to the brisket and fry for 4 minutes. Add onions to the potatoes and brisket and fry for 7 minutes under a lid over a low-medium heat.

In a separate bowl, combine eggs, dried garlic, smoked paprika and milk and whisk together. Pour the mixture into the skillet with potatoes and brisket, cook the dish for a couple more minutes.

As a result, we get a simple delicious potato dish.

Brisket in the dish can be replaced with ham or sausage.
