If we talk about baked goods in which the dough is cooked with the addition of cottage cheese, then many people imagine exactly cheesecakes. This is not surprising, because this dish is quite common. It is present in many cuisines of the world. It is difficult to imagine breakfast in a cafe or restaurant without cheesecakes in the complex menu.
However, cheesecakes have a modern alternative. We add cottage cheese to the dough, but in the end we will get a different dish.
Ingredients for shanezhki with meat:
- Cottage cheese – 250 g;
- Egg – 2 pieces;
- Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons;
- Flour – 300 g;
- Leavening agent – 1 tsp;
- Ground chicken – 300 g;
- Onion – 1 piece;
- Potatoes – 1 piece;
- Salt, pepper – to taste.
Preparation of shanezhki with meat:
Mix in one bowl cottage cheese, eggs and bring to homogeneity. Next, sift flour and leavening agent into the egg mixture, knead the dough.
In the minced meat rub onion and potatoes, add ground black pepper and salt, mix.
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 millimeters. Spread the minced meat over the whole area of the dough. Roll the dough into a roll and seal the edges.
Cut the roll lengthwise into medium-thick slices and dip them in flour.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and place the pieces on the surface. Fry the dumplings for 4 minutes on each side over medium heat.
It turns out baked from airy dough with juicy minced meat inside. This dish is perfect for lunch or dinner.
