Pizza is an ancient Italian dish that became very popular in the XX century. The dish aroused great interest in Americans, who soon decided to cook pizza themselves in the United States. In the second half of the XX century, many different pizzerias appeared in the country. Some institutions were positioned as family, others as children’s, others for adults.
From America, the cult of pizza began to spread to Europe and the CIS countries. In 1990, pizza appeared in the USSR. However, pizza did not last long in the Soviet Union. The decline in relevance was probably due to shortages.
Now pizza can be prepared at home, for this you do not necessarily need to be a professional chef.
Ingredients of pizza dough:
- sour cream – 4 tbsp;
- mayonnaise – 4 tbsp;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- flour – 9 tbsp.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- tomato – pcs;
- sausages – 2 pcs;
- salted cucumber – piece;
- cheese – 80 g;
- ketchup – 2 tbsp.
Pizza preparation:
Break eggs in a deep bowl, mix with sour cream and mayonnaise. Pour flour into the mixture and knead a thick dough. You can use a mixer for this purpose.
Cut circles of tomato, sausage and pickles. Grate cheese on a coarse grater
. Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and heat it up, spread the dough on the surface in an even layer. Fry the dough on low heat, smear the top with ketchup.
On the layer of ketchup put sausages, tomatoes and cucumbers. Sprinkle cheese on top of the filling, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
To decorate the pizza, you can use herbs – parsley and dill. If desired, we recommend replacing the ketchup with tomato paste.
