Ingredients for potato pies:
- steep boiling water – 300 ml;
- cheese – 100 g;
- salt – tsp;
- boiled potatoes – 2 pcs;
- flour – 500 g.
Preparation of potato pies:
It is necessary to salt boiling water, pour flour into it, knead the dough with a spatula. As soon as the water becomes warm, you can knead the dough with your hands.
Elastic and not sticky dough leave it under a cellophane bag for 10 minutes. Next, divide the dough into 10 equal parts, form them into koloboks. Knead
the potatoes into mashed potatoes, shred the cheese with a large grater.
Roll the koloboks into rectangular thin layers. Put the cheese and potato stuffing on a part of the plate. Cover the second part with mashed potatoes, sealing the open edges.
If desired, you can remove excess dough from the edges of the patties with a knife.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and place the patties in it.
Fry the patties on high heat on both sides until golden.
You get bloated soft patties with potato filling and heavy cheese.
If you want to make the pies on a budget, you can omit the cheese.
