Plum is quite widespread in our country. In Soviet times, this berry was grown everywhere in gardens and parks. Therefore, many plum trees are still preserved.
In total, there are about 250 varieties of plum. Of course, not all varieties can exist in our climate. Therefore, some especially sweet species can be found only in stores.
However, even from your own plums you
can
prepare many interesting dishes. For example, a flavorful plum pie.
Ingredients for plum pie:
- plum – 12 pcs;
- butter – 120 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- sugar – 120 g;
- leavening agent – 6 g;
- flour – 170 g.
Preparation of plum cake:
From the plum remove the seed, cut into two parts.
Pour sugar into softened butter, beat with a whisk.
Beat eggs into the cream mixture, beat until homogeneous

Sift flour combined with baking powder into the obtained mixture. Use a spatula to knead the dough.
Cover the baking dish with parchment and place the dough on the surface.
Spread the dough evenly over the mold, place the plums cut side down.
Bake the cake at 180 degrees in the oven for 45-50 minutes.
Before baking you can splash the plums with lemon juice and sprinkle with brown sugar.
This will make the pie even sweeter and richer.
