Salad “Prince” is a popular dish that successfully combines a variety of flavors and textures. Its history dates back to Soviet times, when gastronomy was rapidly developing and new culinary ideas were emerging.
However, despite its democratic nature, salad “Prince”, like many other dishes of that era, quickly gained popularity due to its originality and simplicity.
The basis of this salad is made up of such ingredients as boiled meat (often chicken), eggs, cucumbers
.
There are different variants of the recipe, which depending on the time and place of its preparation can differ, which makes the salad versatile and multifaceted.
Ingredients:
- Boiled chicken fillet – 200 g;
- Canned corn – 100 g;
- Cheese – 80 g;
- Cucumber – 1 pc;
- Egg yolk – 5 pcs;
- Egg white – 5 pieces;
- Mayonnaise.
Preparation of salad “Prince”:
Boil the chicken fillet in salted water, cut into small cubes, mix with a spoonful of mayonnaise and lay it out in a cooking ring, tamp it down. Pour out the excess liquid from the canned corn and pour it on the fillets
. Cover the corn with a mesh of mayonnaise, and then rub the cheese on the corn layer. Spread the cheese on the surface and smear it abundantly with mayonnaise.
Dice the cucumber and place
it
on the cheese layer. Smear the cucumber layer with mayonnaise.
Separate the yolks from the whites of the boiled egg, grate the yolks on a fine grater. Sprinkle yolks on the cucumber layer, cover with mayonnaise. Grate
proteins on a coarse grater and sprinkle them on the yolk layer, tamp the layer of protein. Cover the salad with food film and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
After cooking you can decorate the salad with mayonnaise, pomegranate kernels and corn.
