Meat pies have always been considered favorites in the baking environment. In most nations of the world, you can find recipes for cooking meat pies. And the cooking algorithms are quite diverse.
For example, in our country, closed-type pies with pork and beef are prepared. In Asia, meat pies are made of rice flour with the addition of spicy spices
. More layered pies are prepared in the eastern states. And Europeans prefer to make open pies with meat filling, adding cheese inside.The
variety of meat pies is amazing. We want to show a recipe for meat pies with a very tasty flavor and juicy filling.
Ingredients for meat pies:
- vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- minced meat – 300 g;
- onion – pcs;
- carrots – pcs;
- cabbage – 300 g;
- salt – 1.5 tsp;
- pita 50×30 – 2 pcs;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- Greek yogurt – 200 ml;
- cheese – 50 g;
- flour – 100 g.
Preparation of meat pies:
Cut into thin quarter rings onion, chop carrots on small sharps of grater, chink finely cabbage. In a frying pan in vegetable oil fry minced
meat. To the meat put onions and carrots, mix the components. To the lightly fried vegetables put cabbage, mix again. On medium heat stew the stuffing under a lid for 15 minutes.
Do not forget to salt the stuffing (tsp.) and cool slightly. Next, put the stuffing on two pita breads, spread it evenly over the entire surface.
Roll the pita into rolls, cut into small portions.
In a separate bowl combine eggs with salt, yogurt and flour, mix well. Grate the cheese and mix with the yogurt
mixture
.
Dip the small rolls in the yogurt and egg mixture.
Heat 150 ml of vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the rolls on medium heat on both sides until golden.
To the meat stuffing, if desired, you can chop greens – parsley, dill and green onions. You get a lot of meat patties, for which you do not need to knead the dough.
