Jelly desserts are less popular than cakes and pastries with delicate sponge cake. This statistic is probably due to the fact that classic desserts in the form of cakes appeared earlier.
Jelly desserts began to be prepared around the 18th century. Then desserts were available only to the elite of society. Jelly desserts were expensive, as the natural product was difficult to obtain. Not all cooks knew how to work with jelly
. Nowadays it is not a problem to get jelly in stores. However, not everyone knows about delicious desserts from this product.
Ingredients for jelly dessert:
- Gelatin – 30 g;
- Cold water – 90 ml;
- Curd – 350 g;
- Sour cream – 400 g;
- Sugar – 180 g;
- Vanilla sugar – 10 g;
- Nectarine – 200 g;
- Sultana grapes – 120 g.
Preparation of jelly dessert:
In a bowl, combine gelatin with water, dissolve and send to the refrigerator until solidified. In a separate bowl mix cottage cheese with sour cream, vanilla and classic sugar, whip until homogeneous with an immersion blender.
Cover a deep form 20×20 cm with food film

Remove the nectarines from the pips and cut into small pieces. Together with the grapes send the nectarines to the curd mass, stir.
Melt gelatin and pour it into the curd mass with fruit, stir. Pour the mass into the prepared mold, spread evenly on the surface.
You can put grapes and other fruits on top of the mass. Send the dessert to the refrigerator to solidify for 12 hours.
After solidification it is necessary to turn the container over and lay out the dessert on a flat plate, get rid of the film.
