Flapjacks were the breakfast of Ivan the Terrible and Catherine the Great. This pastry appeared long ago, but got its final name with difficulty. Different regions called flapjacks differently: olazhki, aladyi, olanki, etc. Although the word comes from the ancient Greek “eladion”, that is, cooked in oil. Years later, the word was transformed and got the final pronunciation.
Let’s try to cook diet apple fritters. Breakfast will take only 5 minutes to prepare, will be delicious and healthy.
Ingredients:
- apple – pcs;
- oat flakes – cup;
- kefir – 1/2 cup;
- egg – pcs;
- coconut oil.
Preparation:
Peel the apple from the peel, rub it on a coarse grater in a deep bowl. Break one hen’s egg into a bowl. With a fork, mix the ingredients together. If desired, you can replace the egg with half a banana.
Take a 250 ml glass and long-cooked oatmeal. Add to the grated apple and egg. Pour in kefir of any fat content. Stir with a fork.
Leave the preparation for 5 minutes, so that the flakes have time to soften.
Grease the frying pan with frying oil, coconut oil is best, it will add a pleasant flavor. Place one tablespoon of the mixture on the stove. Give the products a round shape.
Set a low heat and cook for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4 minutes.
