Beet salad “Romeo and Juliet” is a simple, but incredibly useful and delicious dish that is gaining more and more popularity every year. It has a bright color and a rich taste, which is able to decorate any table, whether it is a festive event or an ordinary family dinner.
Cooking beet salad does not require special culinary skills, which makes it available to everyone who wants to make it. The dish can be prepared in a variety of ways, combining beets with different ingredients.
Let’s tell you how to prepare a salad “Romeo and Juliet”
Ingredients:
- beets – 2 pcs;
- red onion – 1 pc;
- sugar – 1 tsp;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- 9% vinegar – 1 tbsp;
- water – 3 tbsp;
- pickled cucumbers – 3 pcs;
- chicken fillet – 1 pc;
- potatoes – 3 pcs;
- carrots – 1 pc;
- mayonnaise;
- cheese;
- garlic.
Preparation of the salad:
Boil to readiness in salted water chicken fillet. Bake or boil potatoes, carrots and beets, peel and grate on a coarse grater
. Cut onions in half rings and marinate in a mixture of sugar, salt, vinegar and water. Chop pickles finely, divide the cooked meat into fibers.
Put a layer of meat in the salad bowl first, smear with mayonnaise

On the layer of meat put cucumbers, cover with a mesh of mayonnaise.
On the cucumber layer put carrots, smear with mayonnaise

On the carrot layer put pickled onions, squeezed from the liquid. Smear
