Salads are a simple dish made from chopped and minced vegetables and fruits. Traditionally, we are used to adding various kinds of meat, poultry, fish and cheeses to salads. In addition, a mandatory part of any salad is considered a dressing. Most often mayonnaise serves as a dressing.
Almost all recipe books are filled with such salads. However, it is worth knowing how to prepare not only traditional salads, but also to experiment.
Let us introduce you to the way of preparing a salad of Peking cabbage
.
Ingredients for Peking cabbage salad:
- Peking cabbage – 200 g;
- cucumbers – 2 pcs;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- crab sticks – 250 g;
- dill – a bunch;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- sour cream – tbsp.
Preparation of Peking salad:
Boil hard-boiled eggs, cool and peel. Cut eggs into small cubes, similarly cut cucumber and crab sticks. Shinkuem finely peking cabbage and dill
. Combine peking cabbage, dill, eggs, cucumber and crab sticks in a salad bowl. Salt the salad, dress with sour cream and mix thoroughly.
If desired, you can add black pepper to the salad.
With sour cream, the salad turns out tender and lighter than with mayonnaise. But, to taste, sour cream is not prohibited to replace mayonnaise sauce.
