The fact is that it is made from wheat flour. Roti is a simple flatbread, unlike Paratha, which is made of several layers of dough.

Ingredients for traditional flatbreads:

  • flour – 450 g;
  • butter – 100 g;
  • kefir – 200 g;
  • salt – 1.5 tsp;
  • leavening agent – tsp;
  • green onion – 20 g;
  • egg – pcs;
  • cilantro – 20 g;
  • 9% cottage cheese – 300 g;
  • parsley – 20 g;
  • dill – 10 g.

Preparation of traditional tortillas:

In a container pour flour, in the middle create a small depression, where we pour kefir. Pour leavening agent into the kefir, wait for the components to react.

Pour a spoonful of salt into the eggs, mix well until the grains of sand dissolve. Pour the egg mixture into the flour, mix with kefir. Knead elastic and not sticky dough, divide it into 6 identical

lumps. Lumps of dough leave under cellophane for 10-15 minutes to rise. At this time we can prepare the cottage cheese filling. We chop dill, parsley, green onions and cilantro in advance, add to the cottage cheese, salt and mix.

Roll the lumps
