Chorba is a soup popular in Serbia, Moldavia, Romania and other countries. It is a hot thick soup cooked with kvass. The name Chorba comes from the Turkish soup Shurpa. In Serbia, the word is pronounced as Chorba, acquiring a national connotation. In
addition to this name Shurpa, there are also Shorba, Shorpa and others. All these soups are prepared differently in European countries.
Chorba is created from a mixture of different products.
Nowadays, Chorba in Serbia is no less popular than borscht in the CIS countries

It is a hearty and tasty soup that lasts for a long time.

Ingredients for Chorba:
- bacon – 100 g;
- onion – pcs;
- ribs – 500 g;
- carrots – pcs;
- sweet pepper – 2 pcs;
- mushrooms – 100 g;
- hot pepper – pcs;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- tomato – 3 pcs;
- potatoes – 2 pcs;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- paprika;
- rosemary;
- canned beans – 300 g;
- water – 1 liter.
Preparation of Chorba:
Cut large large bars of bacon, fry in a pan in vegetable oil.Cut large feathers of onion, fry together with bacon.Cut large
ribs and fry with bacon and onions on high heat for 3-5 minutes. Peel the carrots, divide them lengthwise and slice into half circles. Put the carrots in the pot with the rest of the ingredients.
Peel the sweet peppers from the insides and cut into small plates, put them in the pot and mix all the ingredients. Peel the
mushrooms
from the top layer and cut into small cubes
. Put the mushrooms in the pot. Finely chop the hot peppers, cleaned from the insides and mince the garlic
. Put the garlic and peppers in the pot and stir. Divide tomatoes in two and grate them on large grating cutters.
Pour the tomato mass into the pot with the rest of the components.
Stir the ingredients, cook the soup for 15 minutes under a lid
.
Peel potatoes and cut into small cubes, after cooking put into the pot with salt, paprika and rosemary.
Put the beans in the soup and pour the water in, cook under a lid for 15-20 minutes.
After cooking you can chop the parsley and dill into the soup.
