Preparing salads does not take as much effort as cooking other dishes. However, this does not mean that salads are prepared easily and without any rules. There are some points in the preparation of salads, which should be taken into account.

First, it is better to cook vegetables in the skin. So more useful substances are preserved, the flavor is not lost.

Secondly, you should not combine products of different temperatures. Cool the boiled, heat what you took out of the refrigerator to room temperature.

These simple tips will make your salad perfect. Do not forget also to cut all the components equally. Let’s prepare together a salad “Drakosha”.

Ingredients for the salad “Drakosha”:

  • potatoes – 4 pcs;
  • herring fillet – 320 g;
  • onion – 1 pc;
  • boiled eggs – 4 pcs;
  • pickled cucumbers – 3 pieces;
  • processed cheese – 160 g;
  • green onions – a bunch;
  • salt – 1 tsp;
  • sugar – 1 tsp;
  • 9% vinegar – 1 tbsp.

Preparation of salad “Drakosha”:

Cut quarter rings onion, salt, pour sugar, pour vinegar. Completely cover the onions with boiling water and leave to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Boil potatoes, peel and grate them on a coarse grater. Mix potatoes with mayonnaise and place in a cooking ring in an even layer. Sprinkle the layer with pepper and form a mesh of mayonnaise.

Cut herring into small cubes and put it on the potato layer. Remove water from onions and put on herring. Shinkuem green onions, sprinkle the layer of fish.

Rub on the fish layer finely boiled eggs, create a mesh of mayonnaise on the surface.
