Ingredients:
- potatoes – 600 g;
- sour cream – 2 tbsp;
- butter – 50 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- salt – 1/2 tsp;
- raw yeast – 12 g;
- flour – 500 g.
Preparation of potato doughnuts:
Boil the peeled potatoes until tender and then mash them with a masher. Add butter to the mashed potatoes, mix until homogeneous
. Add sour cream and eggs to the mashed potatoes, salt and mix again. Mix yeast with 50 ml of warm potato broth and pour it into the mashed potatoes. If you use dry yeast, you will need 6 grams of it.
Pour the flour to the potatoes and knead the dough. Leave the dough under the lid for 1 hour.
Knead the dough on a table sprinkled with flour. Roll out the dough into thick layers, cut out small circles from each with a glass – future doughnuts.

Fry the doughnuts in a frying pan with vegetable oil until golden on both sides.

Put the doughnuts on a paper towel to drip off excess oil and then serve.
