Beet is considered a common vegetable as it grows on almost all continents. From beets, many peoples make very interesting traditional dishes. Most often, the root vegetable acts as a salad. However, with beets, many soups are also prepared. For example, the most famous for us is considered borscht.
From this root vegetable is made a lot of medicines and cosmetics. Thanks to its healing properties, beets are very much in demand in a large number of industries.

Ingredients for beet side dish/snack/salad:
- beets – 3 pcs;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- onion – 3 pieces;
- sugar – tsp;
- vegetable oil – 5 tablespoons;
- tomato paste – tbsp.
Preparation of beet garnish/snack/salad:
Boil the beets not to the end, so that they are only half cooked. Clean the vegetable from the top layer, chop on large grater teeth.
Cut small pieces of onions, fry in a pan in a small amount of vegetable oil until lightly golden.

Mix the ingredients, cover with a lid and leave to stew for half an hour.
