However, once you try homemade cookies – you will not want another. We suggest making cookies yourself, using simple ingredients.
Ingredients of the dough for walnut cookies:
- flour – 500 g;
- margarine – 200 g;
- kefir – 200 ml;
- egg – pcs;
- sugar – 50 g;
- leavening agent – 10 g;
- salt – a pinch.
Ingredients for the filling:
- nuts – 250 g;
- white of one egg;
- sugar – 200 g.
Preparation of nut cookies:
We envelope cold margarine in flour, and then grind it on the large sharps of a grater. Combine margarine shavings with flour, you need to grind the mixture to the state of fine crumbs.
Pour sugar, salt and leavening agent into the margarine crumbs

Add egg and kefir to the mixture, knead a soft and not sticky dough.
Take the dough to the refrigerator for 20 minutes. At this time you need to prepare the filling. First roast nuts in a frying pan for 3-4 minutes.
Chop the roasted nuts to a fine crumb and combine with sugar and protein. Divide the dough into two parts, one of which is kept in the fridge
. Roll out the other part of the dough into an 8 mm thick layer and spread with ½ of the nut filling. Roll the dough into a roll, brush with egg yolk if desired and divide into small portions.
The same procedure should be carried out with the second part of the dough and the nut filling. Bake the cookies in the oven at 180 degrees for about half an hour.
For this recipe, you can use both walnuts, hazelnuts, peanuts and cashews. We recommend adding cinnamon and vanillin to the filling to taste.
