.Let’s prepare potato flatbread
in a
frying pan.
Ingredients for potato tortillas:
- Potatoes – 3 pcs;
- Milk – 180 ml;
- Sugar – 0,5 tsp;
- Salt – 0,5 tsp;
- Yeast – 15 g;
- Flour – 300 g.
Preparation of potato cakes:
Boil peeled potatoes until tender and turn into mashed potatoes. Pour sugar and salt into warm milk, add yeast and stir thoroughly until the grains of sand dissolve
. Pour the milk into the potato mass and stir. Pour the flour to the potato mixture and knead the dough
. Cover the dough with cling film and leave it warm for 40 minutes. Then knead the dough again. On a table sprinkled with flour, divide the dough into 4 balls.
Leave the rolls under the cling film for 10 minutes. Shape the dough into small tortillas smaller in diameter than the pan.
In a frying pan with hot vegetable oil, fry the tortillas on both sides for a couple of minutes.
You get soft potato tortillas. They can replace bread, they can be used as a side dish and served with soups.
