Cutlets are one of the most popular and familiar dishes in the cuisines of various countries, which occupies a special place on the tables of peaceful families and festive feasts. These appetizing meat products prepared from minced meat can be made in different variations, which makes them a universal element of the diet.

Cutlets can be made from beef, pork, chicken, turkey and even fish, allowing everyone to choose the most preferred flavor.

The history of cutlets goes back centuries, and they have their roots in European cuisine, but similar dishes can be found in other cultures. For example, in Russia, cutlets are often associated with home gastronomy and comfort.

Let’s prepare delicious and juicy cutlets

Ingredients:

  • Meat – 500 g;
  • Onion – 200 g;
  • White bread – 60 g;
  • Milk – 200 ml;
  • Potatoes – 1 pc;
  • semolina – 1 tbsp;
  • Salt – 1 tsp;
  • Ground black pepper;
  • Flour.

Preparation of cutlets:

Cut bread into small pieces and soak in milk. Peel and cut small pieces of potatoes and onions, pass through a meat grinder and add to the minced meat.

In a blender or meat grinder crush the bread without squeezing out the milk. Transfer the bread mixture to the mince and vegetable mixture.

Salt the mince, pepper and mix with the rest of the ingredients, beat 20 times. Put the minced meat in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Then, using hands soaked in water, form cutlets.

Dip the cutlets in flour and then fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

Fry the cutlets on both sides until browned. Cut potatoes into slices and put them in a pot on the bottom, pour a little water in it.
