Over the centuries, recipes have varied depending on the region, available ingredients and cultural traditions.
For example, in Russia, the famous chicken broth is often served with noodles and herbs, while in Mexican cuisine you can find chicken soup with the addition of spices as well as corn.
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 700 g;
- Pasta – 100 g;
- Onion – 1 pc;
- Carrots – 1 pc;
- Potatoes – 1 pc;
- Laurel leaf – 1 pc;
- Peppercorns – 7 pcs;
- Turmeric – ½ tsp;
- Italian herbs – 1 tsp;
- Salt – 1,5 tsp.
Preparation of classic chicken soup:
Thoroughly rinse the chicken carcass and divide it in two, lay it out in a pot. Fill the chicken completely with water and cook under a lid until boiling
. Remove the foam from the surface of the broth, add to the chicken peas and bay leaf. Cook for 20 minutes until ready, and then take the carcass out of the broth
. Remove the bay leaf from the broth, put a finely chopped onion. Grate carrots and potatoes on a coarse grater and put them in the broth
. Pour turmeric, salt and Italian herbs into the broth and continue to cook under a lid for 10 minutes. In a frying pan in vegetable oil fry the pasta, and then add it to the soup
. Remove the skin from the chicken, divide it into meat fibers, which are then put into the soup

Cook the soup for another 2-3 minutes under the lid, add more herbs to taste.
