  • tomato paste – 2 tbsp;
  • water – 250 ml;
  • salt – 1.5 tsp;
  • yeast – 25 g;

  • carrots – 200 g;
  • flour – 700 g;
  • cabbage – 500 g;
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.

Preparation of cabbage pies:

In a steep boiling water pour 5 tbsp. of flour from the total amount, stir and leave for 5 minutes. Pour warm water into the resulting lump, pour a spoonful of salt, sugar and yeast

. After mixing the components, pour the flour into the mixture in batches, knead elastic and pliable dough

Pour vegetable oil on the lump, knead it into the dough

. Leave the dough lump under the foil for 40 minutes.

Let’s prepare the filling, chop finely onion, grate carrots, shrink cabbage. In a frying pan fry onions until soft, then add carrots and cabbage. Over medium heat, stew the vegetables for 2 minutes under a lid.
