  • vegetable oil – 150 ml;
  • salt – 2 tsp;
  • sugar – 6 tbsp;
  • citric acid – 2 tsp.

Preparation of pickled beets:

Boil beets until cooked and cool to lukewarm. Peel the beets and shred them on large grater sharps. You can also run the peeled beets through a small strainer of a meat grinder.
