Sweet pineapple is a crispy confection that is popular in many countries around the world. Its golden crust, delicate texture and sweet flavor make it a welcome treat on any table.

The history of sweet pineapple dates back several centuries. It is believed that the first mention of it appeared in medieval Europe, where it was known under different names.

Let’s prepare a delicious sweet pineapple

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 2 pcs;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • vegetable oil – 150 ml;
  • vanilla sugar – 10 g;
  • sugar – 150 g;
  • kefir – 500 ml;
  • baking soda – 1 tsp;
  • flour – 1.200 kg.

Preparation of the cake:

Break eggs in a bowl, pour salt, vanilla and classic sugar, whisk. Pour into the mixture of kefir, vegetable oil, pour out baking soda.

Stir all the components until homogeneous, pour in the flour. Knead a soft dough, which is slightly sticky to the hands.

Leave the dough in the refrigerator under cellophane for 20 minutes. Next, roll out a small amount of dough into a 1 cm thick layer.

Divide the layer into small rhombuses, cut a hole in the middle of each one. Thread one end of the rhombus through the hole and twist it slightly.

Fry the pineapple in plenty of hot vegetable oil. Fry on both sides and then place on a paper towel.
