Ingredients:
- kefir – 300 ml;
- salt – tsp;
- sugar – tsp;
- egg – 1 pc;
- cottage cheese – 100 g;
- flour – 500 g;
- leavening agent – tsp;
- potatoes – 400 g;
- onion – 1 pc;
- sour cream – 2 tbsp.
Preparation of potato patties:
Pour salt and sugar into kefir, break an egg and mix thoroughly. Add cottage cheese to the mixture, stir and pour flour with baking powder,
knead a soft and slightly sticky dough, leave it under cellophane for 10 minutes. Peel and chop potatoes, boil until cooked and then knead to a puree
. Cut quarter rings onions and fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil until golden. Add onions to the mashed potatoes together with sour cream, salt and mix.
Knead the dough and divide it into 10 equal parts, form the rolls
.
Roll out the rolls into thick patties with your hands, put a spoonful of stuffing in each pattie
, seal the stuffing inside as if in a pouch and press down slightly. Place the patties seam side down in a pan with vegetable oil.
The patties should be half buried in the oil.
Fry the patties on both sides until browned.
