“White snow” is a delicious dessert with chocolate sponge cake and coconut mousse. This cake remotely resembles the famous candy “Rafaello”. In fact, the recipe for this treat was copied from the popular candy. However, at the same time, the cake has its own zest.
This dessert is not difficult to prepare, so even a novice cook can cope with the preparation of cake “White Snow”. In the composition there are no complex ingredients that would be inappropriate in the dessert.
Chocolate soft cakes are perfectly combined with a delicate mousse based on whipped cream and gelatin.
Outwardly, the cake turns out as if fluffy due to dried coconut, which is sprinkled on the top of the dessert.

Ingredients for chocolate sponge cake:
- flour – 80 g;
- cocoa powder – 15 g;
- leavening agent – 1 tsp;
- salt – a pinch;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- vanilla sugar – ½ tsp;
- sugar – 80 g;
- vegetable oil – 40 ml;
- milk – 40 ml.
Ingredients for coconut mousse:
- water – 40 ml;
- gelatin – 7 g;
- 33% whipped cream – 500 g;
- powdered sugar – 80 g;
- dried coconut – 40 g;
- Nutella – 150 g.
Preparation of the dessert “White Snow”:
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Separately to the eggs pour classic and vanilla sugar, beat with a mixer until the mass increases a couple of times.
Pour into the egg mixture vegetable oil, continue to beat. Pour the milk into the egg mixture, stir and sift in the dry ingredients in batches.
Knead a thick biscuit dough

Pour the batter into a parchment-lined baking dish (15×25 cm).

Bake the biscuit at 170 degrees for 13-15 minutes. Put the parchment on top of the biscuit and turn the tray over, take the biscuit out.
For the mousse, dilute the gelatin in water. Mix the heavy cream with powdered sugar and coconut shavings
. Melt the swollen gelatine and add a spoonful of cream to it, stir. Pour the gelatin into the cream and coconut mixture, stir. Put
the mousse into a pastry bag and half fill the molds

Preferably, the molds should be round and silicone.
Spread the mousse in the entire cavity of the molds with a spoon. Put a little Nutella on the bottom. Cover the Nutella filling with the mousse.

Cut out biscuit cakes from the sponge cake using a stack.

Press the cakes into the molds with the mousse and Nutella.

Leave the dessert to set in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. We leave the dessert to defrost for half an hour, and then sprinkle it with coconut shavings.
