Spicy salted fish will be a wonderful addition to the dinner and festive table. It turns out simply marvelous, all spices in moderation, the amount of salt will be regulated at will.
For preparation you will need the following ingredients:
- mackerel, 600 g;
- sugar, 0.5 tbsp;
- salt, 1 tbsp;
- water, 200 ml;
- cloves, 2 pcs;
- coriander, 0.5 tsp;
- allspice and black pepper, 7 pcs. each;
- bay leaf, 1 pc;
- vinegar, 9%, 1 tsp;
- vegetable oil, 1 tbsp.
Cooking process
Fish can be taken any – fresh or frozen, remove all excess, rinse well and dry with paper towels.
Dissolve salt and sugar in water, add all the spices and cook after boiling for 5 minutes

Remove from the stove and cool.
Tip: I know that many people do not like cloves, so you can leave them out.
Cut the fish in pieces and put it in a glass or other container with a lid.
In the cooled marinade pour vinegar and vegetable oil, mix everything and pour the fish.
Send it to the fridge for 10 hours to marinate
. I serve such fish with regular or green onions, it turns out tender, very pleasant to taste
