It’s no secret that chop is so named because meat is tenderized to make it soft and easy to cook. The idea probably originated with the need to utilize tough animal parts in the diet. This was a way to save money on food and still have a tasty meal.
Chicken breast chop as a recipe originated in 19th century Germany. This solution was simple, cheap, but was not very popular. When this dish was learned about in Vienna, it gained its fame. Now the recipes are modernized in every possible way, we decided to baste the chicken breast and prepare a delicious roll.
Ingredients for the roll:
- chicken breast – pcs;
- eggs – pcs;
- Parmesan – 100 g;
- butter – 100 g;
- dill – 30 g;
- salt – 10 g;
- black pepper – 10 g;
- breadcrumbs – 50 g.
Ingredients for the sauce:
- garlic;
- cherry tomatoes;
- red pepper.
Preparing the roll:
Cut chicken breast into 4 flat pieces. Cover with plastic wrap and baste. Salt and pepper to taste. Brush each of the pieces with butter.
Finely chop the dill. Grate Parmesan cheese on a coarse grater. Transfer to a deep container, mix. Place the mixture on top of the meat.
Roll up the breast into a roll.
Prepare two saucers: with chicken egg and breadcrumbs. Dip the pieces and place on a baking tray lined with parchment.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Temperature 180 degrees C.
For the sauce in a frying pan fry garlic and cherry tomatoes, add sliced red pepper. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Transfer all ingredients into a blender, salt and pepper to taste.
