Delicious puffy buns have always been a guarantee of good mood. It is also not uncommon in various European countries to prepare such buns for various holidays. One of the most important celebrations is Christmas. Of course, on this bright good holiday, most people prepare traditional pastries.

It is prepared on Christmas Day. The word translates as fritters or pancakes. However, pampushki are more like big buns.

These sweet buns are usually prepared on the eve of the holiday and put on the table for a festive dinner. Let’s tell you how to cook pampushki.

Ingredients:

  • Warm milk – 120 g;
  • Dry quick yeast – 6 g;
  • Sugar – 1 tsp. and 3 tbsp;
  • Zest of 1 lemon;
  • Vanilla sugar – 10 g;
  • Egg – 1 pc;
  • Yolk – 1 pc;
  • Butter – 70 g;
  • Salt – 1/3 tsp;
  • Flour – 350 g;
  • Mac – 125 g;
  • Raisins – 50 g.

Preparation:

Pour yeast and a teaspoon of sugar into warm milk, stir and send to a warm place for 10 minutes. Pour the yeast into a large bowl, pour 2 spoons of sugar, vanilla sugar, beat an egg, add the yolk and soft butter, mix thoroughly.

Knead a soft and elastic dough. After completely adding flour to the dough, knead it on the table for 5 minutes.

Grease a container with vegetable oil, put the batter in it and leave it in a warm place for half an hour.
