Ingredients for the sponge cake:

  • eggs – 5 pcs;
  • egg whites – 2 pcs;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • sugar – 210 g;
  • flour – 180 g;
  • leavening agent – 10 g;
  • starch – 50 g;
  • vegetable oil – 80 ml.

Ingredients for the custard:

  • sugar – 100 g;
  • vanillin – a pinch;
  • egg yolks – 2 pcs;
  • starch – 3 tbsp;
  • milk – 600 ml;
  • butter – 180 g.

Preparation of the cake with custard:

Beat the eggs with the whites to a lush foam.

Divide the biscuit into two parts, from each part make 2 thin cakes

Beat separately butter to whitening with a mixer, gradually add the custard base to it.

Soak each crust with milk and smear with cream, assemble the cake

Smear the sides and top of the cake with a thin layer of cream, put the cake in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
