Ancient Persia is considered to be the birthplace of meatballs, as the inhabitants adored round meat balls.
The dish became widespread after the Italians transformed the recipe and invented a rudimentary mill, i.e. a meat grinder. The first official recipe for
meatballs
was stated in the cookbook of the Italian Pellegrino Artusi.
Today we will make cheese soup with meatballs, which you can treat your family every day!
Ingredients:
- meat – 350 gr;
- potatoes – 4-5 pcs;
- processed cheese – 2 pcs;
- egg – pcs;
- carrots – pcs;
- onion – 2 pcs;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- water – 2 liters;
- salt;
- pepper.
Preparation:
Pass through a meat grinder 350 grams of meat, as well as one onion. Transfer the mince into a deep bowl and break one hen’s egg. Press two cloves of garlic and add to the rest of the ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste.
Knead the mince first with a tablespoon and then with your hands.
Take the remaining onion and cut into small cubes

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Peeled potatoes are also cut into cubes. For processed cheese use a fine grater.
In a saucepan pour two liters of water and put on the stove. Put the potatoes and wait for boiling

To do this, you will need to take 20 grams of minced meat and form a ball. Ready products put into boiling water.
If foam is formed, get rid of it with a tablespoon. Cook
for
10-15 minutes.
For frying send onions to the stove. When the onion becomes transparent, add carrots and salt. Transfer the ready roast to the soup.
At the end add melted cheese, cover the pot with a lid and cook for another 10 minutes. If necessary, pepper and salt.
