Pancakes are misunderstood geniuses in the world of quick and easy baking. For some reason, many people in the preparation of various breakfasts forget that there is such a universal dish. It perfectly combines with sour cream, condensed milk, butter and jam. And this is not the entire list of additions to fritters, but only the most basic and typical.
Fritters appeared in our culture so long ago that at that time there were not even written sources. We know quite a lot about baking thanks to folklore and various tales
. For example, pancakes were an offering to the goddess of earth and fertility. There were also rituals of fortune-telling on pancakes, which are now, unfortunately, not relevant.
Pancakes even tried to modernize in the XIX century, adding fruits and vegetables to the dough. But the most delicious are considered fritters according to the classic recipe.
Ingredients for fritters:
- kefir – 200 ml;
- soda – tsp;
- chicken eggs – 2 pcs;
- sugar – 2 tbsp;
- cottage cheese – 200 g;
- flour – 150 g;
- vegetable oil – 50 ml.
Preparation of fritters:
Soda should be extinguished with kefir and wait until the products react with each other. Next, to kefir break a couple of eggs, add granulated sugar and thoroughly mix these components.
To the kefir mixture we put cottage cheese, sift flour and knead a homogeneous dough
.
Heat oil in a frying pan over a low-medium heat.
Transfer the dough into a pastry bag and create small fritters in the pan. Fry the fritters until golden on both sides.
You get delicious cottage cheese fritters, which you do not want to sacrifice to the gods.
It is much better to eat these ruddy mini pancakes on their own.
