New Year salads are one of the important attributes of the festive table. They are needed to replace an appetizer and be a decoration at a festive dinner.
Many hostesses believe that the most important meal on the New Year’s table is a hot dish. However, it quickly runs out and then it is salads that attract the attention of guests. For this reason, the more different salads on the table – the better.
Do not dwell only on the traditional salads – Olivier, Caesar and Herring under a fur coat. In addition to them, there are many interesting new salads that will amaze guests.
One of such salads are ready to provide you with.
Ingredients for the salad:
- Boiled beef – 500 g;
- Pickled cucumbers – 7 pcs;
- Boiled eggs – 6 pieces;
- Walnuts – 200 g;
- Mayonnaise – 200 g;
- Bulgarian pepper;
- Boiled egg white – 1 pc;
- Dill – sprigs.
Preparation of the salad:
Boil the beef in salted water for at least 5 hours. Cut the boiled beef into small pieces. Divide the sliced meat into two parts.
Place one part
of the
meat as the first layer in the pastry ring, tamping it down slightly. Smear the meat layer with mayonnaise.
Cut the pickles into small cubes. ½ of the cucumbers are placed in an even layer on the meat layer. If desired, you can chop a couple of garlic cloves and add them to the cucumbers
. Smear each layer with a thin mesh of mayonnaise

3 peeled eggs cut into small cubes, lay on a layer of pickles.
Similarly lay a layer of leftover meat, then pickles with garlic and eggs. Chop walnuts into coarse crumbs and sprinkle them on the top of the salad.
Leave the salad to soak in the refrigerator for 2 hours. As a decoration, cut bell peppers
into
thin rings – one is enough.
Make a flower from the egg white, chop the yolk into fine crumbs. Put in the center on top of the salad a ring of peppers, on the ring – a flower of egg white. Pour the crushed egg yolk into this flower.
You can also decorate the whole salad with pepper, add dill as petals. It turns out a beautiful and tasty beef salad
