First this meat product conquered France, then the whole of Europe. By the way, our cooks contributed to the history of cutlets. The fact is that chopped cutlets were not popular in European countries until the XVIII century. Only in our innkeepers decided that it is necessary to prepare the dish differently.
Now we have a huge variety of different recipes for cutlets. About one of them we will tell you.
Ingredients for puffy cutlets:
- baton – 90 g;
- breadcrumbs – 150 g;
- milk – 150 ml;
- sour cream – tbsp;
- onion – 100 g;
- dill – 15 g;
- minced meat – 500 g;
- garlic – clove;
- salt – 1.5 tsp;
- cheese – 80 g;
- egg – 4 pcs.
Preparation of puffy cutlets:
While we boil 3 hard-boiled eggs, it is necessary to soak slices of baton in warm milk. Peeled onion chopped on small cloves of garlic in a bowl, put the mince in the same place.
To the meat mass integrate squeezed slices of bread, a spoonful of salt, beat an egg and mix thoroughly. Cooled eggs rub on grater

Pass to the cheese-egg mixture through the press garlic clove, pre-shredded dill, salt. Form flat cutlets, in which we put the resulting stuffing, seal it inside the meat.
Roll the cutlets in breadcrumbs, then fry in a frying pan with vegetable fat until browned.
As a result, you get delicious cutlets with a hearty filling inside.
