Crab sticks are one of the most talked about products of the late 20th century. The fact is that earlier crab sticks were not on the market. This food miracle appeared due to a strong rise in the price of crab meat in Japan. Then one of the entrepreneurs decided to create for the Japanese an analog of crab meat – sticks made of fish meat and fat. The
product turned out to be controversial, but it was very popular. In 1970-1980 years, crab sticks got to other Asian countries, and from there to the U.S.S.R.
