Quite a lot of information is known about cutlets. This dish first appeared in French cuisine, was for a long time its main chip and attribute. However, over time, the recipe for cutlets has changed so much that there is almost nothing left from the French way of cooking.
Cutlets of minced meat have captured the world. They are prepared everywhere in our country, in America and even in many European countries.
It is difficult to imagine that now for us a cutlet is baked ribs.
Let’s prepare cutlets according to the method of Chinese cooks

Ingredients for Chinese cutlets:
- Stuffing – 600 g;
- semolina – 4 tablespoons;
- Onion – 2 pieces;
- Eggs – 2 pcs;
- Salt – ½ tsp;
- Black pepper – a pinch;
- Paprika – ½ tsp;
- Coriander – ½ tsp;
- Potatoes – 2 pcs.
Preparation of Chinese cutlets:
Mix minced meat with semolina, stir and leave for 10 minutes. Cut large pieces of onion, break eggs to it, turn the ingredients into a homogeneous mass with an immersion mixer
. Pour salt, black pepper, paprika and coriander
into the
onion mass. Pour the onion mixture into the minced meat, mix thoroughly and beat the meat mixture.
Soak your hands in water and form cutlets out of the minced meat. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the cutlets until browned – seal them.
Cut the peeled potatoes into thin plates. Put the potato plates in a deep pan, put the cutlets on it. Pour 50 ml of water over the cutlets, cover with a lid. Stew the cutlets for 15 minutes on low heat.
You get a side dish and cutlets with it. Do not forget to sprinkle the cutlets with herbs – cilantro and parsley for more flavor.
